چکیده
Abstract This study investigates the impact of digital economy (DE) on green total factor productivity (GTFP) and its transmission mechanism. Using panel data from 256 cities in China 2009 to 2020, examines a directional distance function Malmquist–Luenberger index estimate GTFP growth constructs an ordinary least squares model explore effect Three findings are drawn estimation results: (1) The DE has significantly promoted GTFP. (2) Technological innovation aided promotion (3) By encouraging technological innovation, further enhances GTFP, verifying → technology conduction mechanism productivity.

Total Factor Productivity Growth, Technical Change and Technical Efficiency Change in Asian Economies: Decomposition Analysis
The aim of this paper is to analyze total factor productivity (TFP) growth and its components in Asian countries applying Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) to the time series data of 44 Asian countries from 2000 to 2010. Using Battese and Coelli approach, TFP is divided into technical efficiency change and technical change. TFP decomposition using SFA method for the years 1998 to 2007 indicate...

This note shows that differences (across sectors or regions) in the effective price of inputs results in low measured total factor productivity (TFP).

“The puzzle confronting economists has been that the rate of growth of output that was being observed has been much larger than the rate of increase in the principal resources that were being measured. It is now clear that this puzzle is of our own making because we have been using measures of capital and labor which had been refined and narrowed in ways that excluded many of the improvements t...

Technical Change and Total Factor Productivity Growth: The Case of Chinese Provinces In the literature technical change is mostly assumed to be exogenous and specified as a function of time. However, some exogenous external factors other than time can also affect technical change. In this paper we model technical change via time trend (purely external non-economic) as well as other exogenous (e...
